GWRRA Chapter NC-I Directions

GWRRA Asheville Chapter NC-I meets on the fourth Saturday of each month* at J&S Cafeteria. Breakfast begins at 9:00 am and the meeting is at 10:00 am.

From Interstate 40 West or East

• Take I-40 Exit 44 to US-29/US-23/Smokey Park Hwy.
• At the end of the ramp, turn right onto US-29/US-23/Smokey Park Hwy.
• Go 1.5 miles and turn right at the traffic light onto Asbury Rd.
• Take the second right (right turn only lane). J&S Cafeteria is on the right.

From Interstate 26 West

• Take Exit 31B to I-40 West. This is an exit from the left lane.
• Take I-40 Exit 44 to US-29/US-23/Smokey Park Hwy.
• At the end of the ramp, turn right onto US-29/US-23/Smokey Park Hwy.
• Go 1.5 miles and turn right at the traffic light onto Asbury Rd.
• Take the second right (right turn only lane). J&S Cafeteria is on the right.

From Interstate 26 East or
From Downtown Asheville

• Take I-240 West. Keep right at Exit 3A to stay on I-240 West.
• Take Exit 31B to I-40 West.
• Take I-40 Exit 44 to US-29/US-23/Smokey Park Hwy.
• At the end of the ramp, turn right onto US-29/US-23/Smokey Park Hwy.
• Go 1.5 miles and turn right at the traffic light onto Asbury Rd.
• Take the second right (right turn only lane). J&S Cafeteria is on the right.

From the Blue Ridge Parkway

• Take the Brevard Rd exit near the North Carolina Arboretum.
• At the end of the ramp, turn left onto Brevard Rd (NC-191).
• Go 1.9 miles and turn left at the traffic light onto Sardis Rd.
• Go 2 miles to the end of Sardis Rd and turn left onto Sand Hill Rd.
• Go 1.5 miles and cross US-19/US-23/Smokey Park Hwy at the traffic light onto Asbury Rd.
• Take the second right (right turn only lane). J&S Cafeteria is on the right.

*Please note that we do not have regular meetings in November and December due to the holidays. Meetings in September are often cancelled so that we may participate in the Wings Over the Smokies rally.
